Hello Cuties! I just finished Mason’s pillows. I love how they came out and although I valued each one of your opinions, I decided to go with two. It took me quite a while to make them, because reaching up to thread machine or bobbin, hurt. Quilting a whole side wasn’t possible at one time, so I took breaks. Sewing was good but my arm limited my time at the machine. I am determined to get my arm in shape again.

I hope you like these as well as I do but I guess it’s more important that Mason likes them. Thank you all again for encouragement, thoughts and prayers. ❤️Toogie

Ps. I posted here in Sewing, because I already posted the embroidered side in Projects. I hope this is correct.
I also forgot to show the zippers in the bottom. I sewed fabric to each end of my zipper like we do for some of the bags we make. My zippers were 14in and my pillow forms 18 inch so I had to add to the zippers before sewing to my pillows. I used black framing around so my zipper wouldn’t show as much being all the same color.

The best pair of pillows I have seen. Love the back of them also. Now Mason can choose which side he wants to display. You did a fantastic job. Now rest your arm for a while

Yes mam, I’m being lazy today. Grayson picked up Nora then my sister came in and just left so nothing was done today. Thank you about the pillows. My sister just said that they are so well sewn , you wouldn’t find anything any better in stores. Her words I’m repeating, not mine.

Well now, if they don't like them, you can send them to me! These are just fabulous and I really enjoy looking at them for all the details.

Toogie, they are so lovely, I'm glad you made two, the backs are as lovely as the fronts. Your grandson will love them - if not I'll send you my address! LOL

Toogie, I'm glad you made the 2 pillows. They are stunning and so much better than anything he could buy. And we all know they are stitched and stuffed with love. They are going to be shown to everyone who comes near and be special heirlooms. Now rest the arm for a bit before you tackle the next project. And it's OK to work slowly. I know this because I am moving slowly too.

You would fall out of your chair if you knew what happened yesterday! That's for another post. I'll leave you in suspense.
Thanks about Mason's pillows.

Hi Toogie, I'm so glad you made two (I suggested that as well as some others) and they look amazing. I actually love the back as much as the front and it's good if he wants to change sides.

Mason will love them, as you made them for him. Your work is beautiful, as always. Love and blessings (and look after yourself!!) Chris

I am ok and I too like both sides. The patchwork pieces were chosen according to fit, no pattern, but I wanted to make sure I sewed each pillow alike. So when I added a piece I cut two pieces, just alike. I sewed both blocks at the same time and just kept sewing around until I reached the size I wanted, until I was ready to frame it with the black. I know these are your colors Chris, besides blues!

Oh, Toogie, they turned out wonderful and you know Mason will love them - especially because you made them with him in mind! Well done! Hugs to you (please take it easy with your arm - a little at a time!!). Laura

Thank you mops! I do hope so. They took me long enough to make, but I was glad to be able to sew something. I must have grunted or groaned a few times trying to reach to wind a bobbin because Hubby asked if there was anything he could do to help.
Think of you and hope things may be getting a little easier for you. I know eventually, time will help. I thought of my sister yesterday, when doing something I knew she used to like to do. ❤️Toogie
