Hi Cuties, we’ll at last my Pew is in situ. This was collected this afternoon from the now defunct Redhead Anglican church by my son Ben, husband Trevor, myself and Ben’s 3 boys in tow!!!

The Pew was actually from my original church at Belmont and so has even greater meaning for me. I’m sure I would have sat on this pew over the 17 years I was a parishioner there.

I’d like to give this pew a coat of weatherproof sealant as it’s out in the elements.

I forgot to mention the porthole mirror belonged to my Dad and he got it from one of the ships he worked on during his career as a diver.

I reckon it looks great here. Trev just popped his head around the back door and asked if I was saying a quiet prayer - a good idea!!

Thankyou God for all the true and faithful friends, for the wonderful communities to which we belong and the power of prayer throughout the world. We have to give Peace a real good chance. Love Chris

I'm thinking this is a sad-happy feeling to have the pew. Sad, that you no longer have that church, happy for the memories of those priests, church people and times. It is beautiful.

What a beautiful treasured memory to have. I agree with Trevor, it is a lovely place to have daily devotions and prayer time.

So very nice, proud for you!

Yes let us all pray for those in the war, May God help them and end all this senseless terror. Oh God please help them I pray..

Once again you will sit in your beloved pew and reflect. It is beautiful. Your father must have had an interesting career, that is a great porthole mirror. Thank you for sharing your prayer. Hugs, Suzanna
