Just a quick note...Am off heavy painkillers and taking 800 mg IB every 6 hours...I think alot of my discomfort will be alleviated when the cast and splints are removed on Thursday...my bruising is so weird...it is moving down my face into my neck what the heck? Not sleeping well in recliner couple hours at night and few naps thru the day...I will get there! Bless you all for your prayers and love...appreciate it more than you know....

I hope with all the painkillers you take something to protect your stomach, otherwise it will be trouble soon. The good thing about the bruise is that it changes to rainbow colors, so you are creative as always - LOL, get well soon, Maria

You went through a lot - and the recovery is painful without a doubt. I hope each day finds you feeling better and more yourself! You have not left my prayers!! Hugs, Laura

Yea on the baby step of being off the heavy pain killers. To me, that is actually a big step. I know you prayed hard for me when I was so sick, and now i am so pleased to see you on the road to recovery. I know each day is hard, but week by week, things will get better. And extra prayers for Thursday. That will be another HUGE step.

Awesome to hear from you. My DH and I have a lot of fun being ornery with each other. He had hip replacement surgery recently and he had lots of swelling in his legs and we called him Michelin Man. It finally went down, but he had horrible bruises on both legs that covered the color spectrum. The worst were kind of gray. At that point he was a Zombie. Of course I waited on him hand and foot during this period as I'm sure Jim is taking care of you. He's looking quite normal these days and I'm sure you will return to looking normal too, but I pray you will be feeling a new and better normal. Can't wait to see the pictures then!
