Hi, Can anyone help me with a Huskvarna Viking 600E software. I recently had an issue with my PC, and have tried upgrading to windows 10 --I had windows 7 and my software was working fine. I now cannot use my software--it does not work. Has anyone else had success, and if so can you share what you did? I am so distraught, as I enjoyed my machine, but had not gotten much use out of it, and was really hoping I can get to use it again. Thank you so very much for any suggestions you can offer!! Sue

I have HV 5D and 6D. I have not updated to Windows 10 and still use Windows 8.1 on this laptop as I don't want to buy the expensive HV upgrade to their current software. And keep my fingers crossed that my 8 yr old laptop last as long as I do.

Thank you! I am still working at this on my pc. I have lost the ability to view the design as a small image when in windows explorer. Not sure if that was something that was free and recommended by someone on this site as an option to look through your designs, but boy I sure will miss that if I do get the software for my machine to work!

My machine is a Husqvarna Diamond which is 10years old.I have 4D extra software & use windows 8 .Over the last few years ,parts disappear from 4D software.I uninstall all of it & the next day reinstall it.It plays up about every couple of years ,this seems to be a solution to the problem.The software isn't used much,so it is very annoying.

Thank you! These software issues sure can take alot of time and troubleshooting.

I have HV 4d or 5d software, and had difficulties with it on Windows 10. My DH is pretty computer savvy and looked on the Internet for answers and got help there. It all works now except 1 component that I apparently lost the code for. Good luck.

You need a computer expert, not me, but I'm thinking you may be able to partition part of your PC and run Windows 7 on it and the Husquvarna software inside that partition also.
