Cuties.... Good Luck to all who are in the path of Ida. O2kar says, " Don't be afraid to evacuate"... several years ago my sister in Tampa decided to evacuate 70 miles inland due to the predicted trajectory of hurricane Charley, but at the last minute, Charley turned and hit directly over her!! Luckily only minium damage was done. Sometimes you just can't win.... AND at the time our younger brother, also named Charley was really mad at her and we joked that he was getting back at her..... Stay safe all!

I agree with all you have said. We were stationed in FL when Charley came to visit. And Ivan also. Charley missed us, but we got to experience Ivan. We were on leave and had no damage so we left to have a pleasant time in southern Florida. We had to evacuate because Ivan turned and came back to visit you guessed it, southern Florida. I hope to never experience the same hurricane twice.

NO one wants a hurricane especially twice he he When I was 14 and in Hialeah, FL as the eye of the hurricane that hit that year was over us, my sister and two brothers and I went out and played in the street puddles.... luckily that hurricane didn't cause much damage. Goof Luck to all
