My husband recently had this, so we feel for you. He would go 12 times a day some days to the bathroom with diarrhea. He lost 16 pounds but when lab (stool specimen) confirmed diagnosis he continued the antibiotics doctor had went ahead and started him on a few days before.He is completely well of it now and just had a colonoscopy that showed no signs of bacteria. He was scheduled for colonoscopy anyway not because of bacteria. Hope you feel better soon and can get started on the right meds.

Hubby got it from contaminated water. Town water had boil advisory but we were unaware. No electricity for 5 days so no news and not on Facebook.
