Well done Vicki and Jim on catching her for good this time. I pray she will eventually settle in with her babies, who as you say are around 7-8! Good luck with all the training. Love Chris
I can't believe it!!!! How neat! About how old is she then? It's like a little Easter miracle!
Yes it is Jan......we think she is about 1 yr older than the first litter (Jif, Skip, Cassi) she dropped on us......so about 7-8 yrs as I think the other girls are not 6-7 yrs old, which I can hardly believe we have had them that long....
Sleeping in her litter box probably similar to where she was sleeping out side in the bush.I wonder how she will react with her domesticated kittens when they all meet up? Is she pregnant?
No, we caught her about 6 yrs ago and had her fixed after she dropped her 3rd litter on us.....we didn't have room to bring her in at that time, do we released her outside and built a heated house for her......this is why she was so hard to trap as she had been caught before
that's so much better than finding a hidden egg.....
Best Easter Present for all of you. She does not know that yet, but she soon will.
Jippi, I hope she knows how good she has it with you and now stays forever !!! Happy Easter to you, hugs Maria =^..^=
She is beautiful and a great "catch". Are you naming her Peanut? Hoping she settles in to a great life with you guys.
Yippee the elusive mama cat.. She is beautiful!! thank you both for not giving up and for Jim on his Drop trap. She looks like my Kelly... In all the years I have been doing this the litter box is a safe place for them at first for some reason. Go figure is right. Hope she comes around to loving the good life quickly. If you can get Parfit to love the life I am sure you can get her to love the life too.
Happy Easter to you both!! What a wonderful Gift..
HUGS
Hurray for Mama and for finally success for you. I'm so glad you and Jim didn't give up. She is beautiful and reminds me of my fur baby, Slippers, whom I still miss after 19 years.
It is amazing how much smaller she is than skip and jif.....when we downstairs to check on her this AM she was laying in her litterbox instead of her nice bed....go figure, right? I think that is pretty common though in a confined area for them to do that?
Good news Vicki, a lovely Easter present. Hugs from Maureen
