My husband & I tested positive for Covid and our quarantine period ends on Thursday (tomorrow)! This is a terrible virus and drains you of your energy etc! NOT pleasant at all!!

Please take care everyone and be safe! We are still unsure as to where we were infected because we were extremely careful as to wearing masks, distancing & sanitizing etc!xx

Hello my dear Cute family & friends!

Thank you so very much for all your kind thoughts, prayers and wishes which we sincerely appreciate so much!

We are both so much better and out of quarantine now and can report that from what we have heard we did have a "mild" case of this virus BUT if that was mild then I dread to think how others have/are suffering as we had a terrible time especially at the very beginning late Dec!!

We are just so thankful that there was no need to be hospitalized! Our symptoms were different in most things which we found strange and there were only a few things that we experienced the same!

The DR told us that we will still experiencing fatigue for quite a while after we have come out of quarantine! So that is really the only issue we have is that we tire easily but other than that we are fine!

Take care everyone as you just NEVER know where OR when you may contract this dreaded Virus!
HUGS and flowers for everyone!
xxxx

Thank you so much for updating us. You have been on my mind, in my thoughts and definitely in my prayers. Yes, that’s what they told my sister too. She tires easily. She had it in November bad. Now she is losing her hair in clumps. She said other friends that had it say they are too. So happy for you both- love Toogie

I am so sorry to hear that you both have had Covid. I know of a few cases where people have had it, been isolating and have no idea how they caught it. I hope that it hasnt long term effects on either of you and your recovery is a short one. Take care and please update us

How are y'all today? I hope your symptoms are mild, or at least better. Thinking of you because hubby and I do the same precautions. It is everywhere....

So sorry, Sandie that you and your husband have had to go through this. My husband has a bad heart condition and we have been strict in staying put. But, we wonder if there is more we can do. I hope you both continue to heal and get over all the affects of this sickness. Hugs to you, Laura

Yikes! That's not good. Will you be "well" by Thursday? Or, will you still be dealing with the symptoms for a while? Does this mean that you will not be contagious to others after Thursday? So many unknown facts about this virus are making me crazy. I guess that doing all the right things is no guarantee that you won't get infected.

I hope it’s not going to be too bad on you both. My daughter (age 47) had sinus problems and loss of taste and was over it in a week or 2 while my sisters had worse cases, diarrhea, vomiting, fever, dehydration, pneumonia, loss of taste & smell and weakness.
We are being very careful too. We leave the house about every 4-6 weeks for groceries and have been doing that since March. If not for my sewing I’d be nuts. I am concerned about hubby because it’s winter and can’t get out and do things like in summertime. The cases are all around us. We live outside a small village but our nursing home has workers and patients positive. A big church here has cases. Everyday we hear of more and more.
I will pray for you and hope y’all do well. That is what’s so crazy about the virus. You don’t know how your body will react. Hopefully you both have mild cases. Sending much love!-Toogie

I'm so sorry to read that Sandie, do you have tracing apps that can assist you over there in South Africa? We have very good tracing facilities here in Australia. Please take it easy. I've heard that your body takes quite a while to get over it. So please make sure you rest. Love Chris
