Update to my mutterings yesterday and pennyhal2's post.

Today I finally got my new Brother V5 up and running and embroidered 2 tea towels. It was very exciting sitting in front of a new machine. Took a while to get the hang of it for the first sew and oh it is so quiet and I love the self threading. Think my Galaxie self threads but doesnt work too well. So for those who are in a rut at the moment it has helped no end today embroidering and I will sew again tomorrow.

Good for you! I actually went upstairs and looked at my fabric...and there it was!

A new machine is a great starter! The only machine that I've found that has a needle threader that actually works every time is the Babylock Destiny. My eyesight isn't as good as it used to be.
