Sept 13 Hi everyone....Tomorrow I am going to have my surgery for a hip replacement. I am a bit nervous..... Can I ask for prayers from the prayer warriors? I go to the hospital at 9 am and my surgery is at 11:30 am...

Blessings to you. Your surgery will go fine. Medicine is amazing in this day and age, I had both knees done and a shoulder. It made a huge difference in my pain. Recovery takes time and there was pain during recovery. The thing that really made that go fast was getting in our YMCA swimming pool as part of an exercise group for older people.

It's ok to be a little nervous! This is a major surgery but the end results will help you a lot. Your faith that this will go well will help you keep a positive attitude and help you through all of this!

Of course, Susanne, you are in my prayers. I will be thinking of you and praying for you. Be patient you yourself - it is natural to be anxious about this - but, think about how you will be feeling when you are off crutches!!! Love and hugs, Laura
