Sociall Distancing. In my bit of the UK we have to make sure we keep 2m away from other people. Quite without trying I have discovered the best way ever of social distancing...

Today my closet Cutie friend visited for the first time since lockdown for us. We went into the Fabric shop and my friend bought a roll of fabric. I ended up walking round holding the fabric and it really kept people away from me and me from them. So if your having problems keeping people at a distance while out the answer is so simple, buy a roll of fabric and tuck it under your arm as you walk round town

Great idea Caroline. I must say that social distancing works well for me. I am not very good when people get too close into my space. 😊

Yes but the fabric must be on the roll for social distancing

Brilliant! I know you had a good time because, Cutie and Fabric Shop were in the conversation.

very funny and good advice. And for the solution of wearing a face mask you can also try to use these: see picture

The bigger bolt the better, too!

Its a great excuse for buying fabric but remember as your wandering in and out of shops that you dont want too much fabric as it can get heavy to hold

Lol- whatever works! We still just get out about every six weeks to buy groceries and we go at 7 am. They have markers on the floor at Sams, but arrows, nothing creative like cows.
I really am doing well using fabric I have. However, if I should get tempted to go to Joanns or Hobby Lobby I could tell my husband I had to buy it by the bolts to keep distancing!😂🤣🤣

Happy shopping at some point then. I hardly ever get in the fabric shop these days :(

I love this idea. And we always need more fabric. I've seen pictures of fastening pool noodles to a hat to show people how much distance to keep. There are so many cute signs soo, like pictures of 2 dogs nose to nose or even kangaroos for our friends Down Under.

The butchers shop in town uses pictures of cows and customers need to keep a cow apart in the queue

Great way to social distance! Did you buy the fabric you were holding? Hugs, Laura

No it was my friends fabric. She bought too much stuff as she doesn’t live in town. I was just the carrier. *4u
