Today I will think of my love, Blackie. We would have been married for 38 years. My heart still aches for him, but I know he is in a better place. I cherish the many wonderful memories we had. Even though the loss is great, I try not to mourn what I have lost, but rejoice in what we had. Blackie will forever remain in my heart.

Thank you. I spent the day going through photo albums and having positive thoughts. I try to be strong. I do look forward to what life has to offer me.
