A few weeks ago there was a thread about items that we have mislaid. Well over the past weeks during time being at home I have found the missing front door key and my hairdryer. I have also found the small box of needles that I try to keep by my embroidery machine. I have managed being minus my hairdryer for so long I feel its now obsolete. Anyone else found missing items during their lockdown?

I have a puppy to blame for everything! I'm losing things all the time now. Once last week, I even went threw the garbage to find something '"lost" only to find it sitting in plain sight on the counter. I don't know why this is so stressful, but emotionally, it is.

It is a stressful time at the moment. It is funny/irritating when something disappears and then suddenly you see it in front of you

Well, that is a silver lining amongst all of these black clouds. I'm glad you can now lock your front door and dry your hair. I haven' found missing items but then I have been organizing almost every area of the house but my sewing room. And you all know my sewing room is what to be organized the most. haha.

I gave up with a hairdryer ages ago, my daughter 'borrowed it' on a visit to us then I couldn't find it... I have a second key to our door and I have one also on the car keys which are currently obsolete

Hi Caroline, this hasn't been during the Pandemic, but I had a BP machine that I had in the lounge-room on the table next to my chair. One day I decided to put it away. Then of course when I went to look for it couldn't find it. So I bought a new one, which wasn't as nice as the original. Of course when I went to use it I decided to get out a DVD from the TV unit cupboard (under the TV) and guess what I found? That's right, so now I have 2. I haven't told Trev I found the original one! Love Chris (ha ha ha)

I am the opposite. I seem to be loosing or misplacing things. I guess I could blame my puppy, but that would not be fair.

I am with you. I have too many things I want to do during this time. I am using two different brands of machines and a serger - that spells confusion; and am working on two knitting and one crochet project. although i have a plethora of scissors etc they seem to play hide and seek on an hourly basis. And no puppy to blame, just a rather disorganised me.
