I have made tons of scrubs. You would need various sizes I assume. I purchased a pattern many years ago that had numerous sizes of scrub tops and pants for men and women. I can't remember the brand but would imagine you could still get one. This would be the easiest solution for you, otherwise you could ask for some samples to reverse engineer and draft a pattern based on what they are already using. I would recommend, depending on time you have to place a side split at the hem for ease of movement and to fit over hips better.
You need to make sure the fabric you use does not create static as this can cause problems in theatre, not only that synthetics get very hot under theatre lights. Also check the neckline. Some pattern manufacturers have very low necklines which are not the best for some female staff IYKWIM
If the scrubs are only being used for theatre you can omit the pockets to save time otherwise pockets are vital. Hope this helps and well l done helping such a worthy cause
I think this site might help you out. It's Covid-19 specific and they have a scrub shirt that they have altered to be an isolation gown. There's also numerous masks and a scrub hat. Good luck and God bless you!
Gosh! There are so many sizes...you have a great undertaking. I think I have a pattern but it does you no good... Can't seem to locate one on the net free...seems like they would already have enough uniform scrubs and would need those dressing gowns to go over.I don't know...not much help from me, sorry...
Thanks for your wise words dear. I think the person who has decided to do this needs to look a little further than they have. I have this evening looked and found a PDF pattern which is not expensive but much better than the hand drawn outfit pattern I have received to work from
That is a toughie. I hope you can find what your are looking for. My research was not very fruitful
So Sew Easy had a free pattern for scrub pants recently. Don't know about tops, though.
