I'm hoping someone remembers.... those cute little pin cushions, biscotti to our Aussies and Kiwis. I'm trying to find my design from one of you that the little square was stitched In a way that made the pin cushion then look like a lopsided square. I'm hoping someone can remember that! Do any of you know what it is? I'm trying to find that in my files.

Hi, We used to be able to share our own designs here on Cute Embroidery. However, since people were abusing the privilege, that wonderful feature has been removed. I'm so sorry. You can, however, become a member of Cute and download all the designs developed by Miss Veronica. There are some amazing designs on there and it is an incredible deal! But, it does not include designs by the "Cuties."

I digitised and stitched several biscornu. See links. Is that what you are looking for?

Those are EXACTLY what I am thinking of. Now if I search for the right name and spelling, I can find them! Can you believe after all this time I was thinking of them? They are really neat and unique! Thanks, Jan

I found the cross stitch one. How do I stitch them together? thanks for helping me. I want to make these for my quilting group ladies. Also, what did you fill them with?

I press the seams to the back, then whip stitch the squares together, points of one square to the middle of the sides of the other.
I used polyester to fill them, then got a strong thread to make the 'dent' in the middle by stitching through the centre a few times.

I also found the smaller design. Thanks for telling me how you stitched them. That will help me a whole lot! I have stitched 14 of these to make 7 biscornu! Now I get to stitch them together! I'll post photos when I get them finished. Thank YOU!

That did make all the difference! It's such a strange word in American English. It sounds more like something we would dip in our coffee!
