When I made a book for my granddaughter I put wholes through the pages and put them together with rings. I added a link so you can see what I am talking about

I've given you links to the books I've posted here in "Projects". Both books had "eyelets" as part of the designs. I used cording laced through those holes on the first book ("Old Mcdonald's Farm" ). On the Numbers book, I used split rings I picked up at Hobby Lobby. Hope this helps.
