Hello Cuties! What nice surprises I received for 2 straight days, from 2 Cuties and a nephew! First day a beautiful embroidered Christmas card! It was such a thoughtful thing to do and I couldn’t help but laugh at the reason and ‘sneakiness’ of the ‘Elf Cutie’ that sent it. So thank you again ( I sent you an email)

The same day my nephew brought me what he said was a lot of work. It was 4 Walmart bags of mustard greens out of his garden! It does take a while to wash that much, but I cooked them all down and bagged them up for the freezer. I came out with 7 quart bags.
Then the next day I received an e-card from the second Cutie! It had pretty scenes and songs and I loved it and the surprise. I think I am a pretty satisfied woman so anything, even if some people aren’t moved, really pleases me. That someone thought of me and then took the time to send or make especially for me, makes me appreciate whatever it is. So thank you ladies. The saying goes it’s the thought behind the gift that counts. I understand that because to me that is what I think of first. You cared enough to think of me.

I admire those Cuties that are pc savvy. All those animations that are put up are beyond me how to do.

I have had some stomach problems for a while now. I recently lost about 15 pounds (which I needed to loose anyway😉) due to not being able to eat much, because of pain.Today had another colonoscopy, which no polyps this time or anything else. He thinks it’s due to IBS-C which I have had most of my life. I hope it gets better soon, as there have been days I just am able eat chicken broth, because of pain....so these surprises come at a great time for me ( Gods perfect timing even in this) and I sincerely want to let you know what it means to me. Love ❤️ you all and hope each and everyone of ‘my Cuties’ have a very Merry Christmas.-Toogie

Oh Toogie, I hope you get feeling better soon! Personal surprises are the best! As far as the greens go, I am glad he gave them to you. I am preparing for a colonoscopy and EGD scheduled early 2020. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas, Suzanna

I hope it gets better too...time will tell. Do you like greens? I love them with good homemade cornbread with a fried crust-lol-... I didn't have to have anything done at the top this time, thank goodness. Hope everything goes well for you.

I have never had greens. Others tell me how good they are, but I do like canned spinach. Probably not the same. I thought cornbread came in a box! I am trying to eat foods that go down easily because food gets caught and boy is it painful!

Thanks Chris, we are having the first 'Christmas' at our oldest daughter's house tonight. He leaves for work overseas Christmas eve (Avery's 14th birthday! can you believe). He missed Christmas day last year too :(

You do so very much for others, Toogie - if anyone deserves some surprise gifts, it's you! I'm so sorry you haven't been feeling well, but it's good news that the colonoscopy didn't turn up anything. Now, you can send whatever you have my since I could use to loose a few pounds or 15! 😄 I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and that 2020 brings you nothing but happiness, good health and all the surprise gifts you deserve! Love, Deb

Ah Deb, you're so sweet. No, you don't want what I have even if you lose weight, because most times it hurts to eat. I hope it's not something else, but if it continues or worsens, I will have further test. Besides, I can't lose too much weight, my little great-grand-daughter Kinley won't recognize me. My grandson sent me a video of her, she is about 8 months old. The video was titled 'Lil girl sees my shaved face for the first time'. When I clicked on it shows her looking at someone. When he speaks, she starts crying!-lol-She must be wondering why her daddy's voice is coming out of that man!-lol

Well I am glad the colonoscopy shows nothing wrong there. I am sorry you have pain when eating. That is not a fun way to loose 15 pounds.
I agree with you so much. It is the fact of knowing that someone thought about you. Talking about Gods timing. Maybe it is His way for you not to be tempted with all the goodies, cakes and cookies that are around this time of the year? 😊😊😊Have a wonderful Christmas

Well it is working!-lol- I have given up coffee (which I loved) and also carbonated drinks, like DrPepper which I drank occasionally but was bad to set off my esophageal spasms. I just didn’t want to give up food!-lol

Thank you for my firewood and the man that delivered it!😉😂😂
