A very cute poem. I lived in West Virginia and Delaware most of my life, so I've had cold winters, just not that cold! When the company DH worked for got taken over by another, he was told he could transfer to Michigan or Texas or find a new job. He checked the sites out on the internet and decided he didn't have any clothing for Michigan winters and we ended up in Texas. I can tolerate the heat, but hate the humidity. I don't much miss winter, but I miss fall and especially spring. Please take care of yourself. We don't want to hear that you've been frozen to the ground.
I will do my very best to stay inside and sew BUT Mr. peeko has to have at least two walks a day .There much shorter then our usual 5 miles because his paws get cold and i half to carry him. Hugs
Good thing you have a fireplace or wood stove right? Adorable poem. sometimes I miss the northeast winters, not very often! Lol!
The poem is a gem my friend, please keep warm and have a Very Merry Christmas!
Hugs - Roberta
Would you like to swap -35 for temperatures over 30C & hot winds full of smoke which set off smoke detectors.Snow would melt eventually & there would be water & maybe the drought would be broken.Forecast for good rainfall is in April.
You might have seen the on the news yesterday ,Sydney Opera House & Harbour Bridge lost in the smoke .Also Sydney has had the worst air in the world at times lately.
Thanks for sharing. Hugs
My pleasure it is -30 right now :(:(
When u go out the hair in your nose freezes lol
Great poem Carolyn, I wish we could have some cold relief down on the east coast of Australia. The smoke from the fires are hanging around something dreadful. We were told today not to do strenuous exercise out in the open especially if you are an asthmatic. Love Chris
Oh I loved it, made me feel so cool, would love a little of that weather for a very short time. We are having heat waves after heat waves here in West Oz. LOL
Oh, love this. It has to be a song and you didn't tell us what melody to sing it to. By the way, is this original? I know you are warm in your heart, dear, no matter the temperature.
i love it , reminds me of when i lived in ny st. could;nt wait to get out of there. i to it for 18 years , bye bye ... stay warm cutie , xo xo doris
lol-I can believe you are frozen there, I sure would be! I don't understand how anyone can live, or survive, in those weather conditions. I guess if you are from there MAYBE you can tolerate it better. I would not survive the first winter.....
