It's simply stunning Jenne and I love the fabric. You've done an excellent job with placement too. Love Chris
very cheap fabric from Wal-mart. I wash it first then beef it up, so that it is easier to sew. gives it some body also thank you,
Wish I had seen that at my Wal-mart, but I probably wouldn't have come up with the plan to make such a lovely skirt.
It looks like you made a Gore skirt. How many panels 8 to make the circle?
Looks beautiful.
yes, there are 8 panels in this skirt, I then put i on my dummy(she is my size) and measure from the floor up to get it even all the way around, a small roll hem by hand.
oh I love it !!! it's gorgeous !! beautiful fabric.
Thank you, This fabric is sheer, so lots of work, with ex white slip under it. with top stitching real close to the edge down to the print was not a border print but I made it look like one.
It hangs beautifully! I am sure you made a waistband but will look forward to seeing it and the top when you finish.
I make a small bias band on my skirts so it gives somewhat with your movement, and not so tight lets you get your breath.
Very clever of you, I read how you did that. It is beautiful.
Thanks, yes the planing was very important. to make the design come out like I wanted it to.
Love it! It has a peacock look about it.
It was a large somewhat round medallion in the center of the fabric all round was white, I folded it in half making that the bottom of the skirt, leaving the outside edges at the center of the skirt with white at the top a one way .design .
