122864I think that the gift from your Vet was really special Vicki. I remember when Mum's dog Miss Sophie died, her Vet sent a card and some flowers. It's the caring nature of our Veterinarians that makes them so special.

My in-laws had a poodle for many years and she got hairbows and toenail polish and a bath every week at the vet, plus shots and regular stuff, too. When the poodle died, the vet sent two dozen long stemmed red roses over to the house!
