When you've exhausted looking in all the places they might possibly be, it's time to start looking where you know they couldn't possibly be. Sigh!!! You know they couldn't just vanish into thin air. The snow suggestion might be a good idea. I'm sure you've looked in your pet's favorite places, under beds and such. Wish I could help.
