Good morning Cuties, I would like to know how much would one really be willing to pay for a set like this? I told my daughter I would donate it to her fundraiser. She said they may do a 'silent' auction a little later and we need a base price.

The funds are going into an account for a wheelchair accessible van for Avery. Their used Toyota van they have has been diagnosed with too many problems and every time they get Avery, they are afraid it will break down & leave them on the side of the road.

We live in the south and I know prices are different in different areas. AND we live rural. If we lived in a larger place or was on Oprah (lol) maybe a dealership would donate a van but we aren't and have to be realistic. So we work and sell what we can.
They are doing a local Easter fundraiser the night before Easter. It's a cute idea, but won't bring in much I'm afraid, but it will start to add up, just like my set anything helps.
Thanks for any input.-Toogie

I too live in the south in an area that is lower income and I had a hard time selling things for what others in different areas sell for. So I would say start it at $50 and hope some will bid the price up. That is if you feel ok with that price. Hugs. Nan W

Just looking at the photo I guessimated $7O so going by what the others thought I wasn't far wrong.. Hope you can get a good price for our Special little Cutie.. Good Luck

I'd say about $75.00 for this set too Toogie. It's gorgeous and I hope you reach your target so you can get that van. Love Chris

Beautiful. Sorry I cannot help but we do not work in dollars here in S. Africa.

It is beautiful Toogie and I hope it brings much much more than what it is worth for such a worthy cause Wheel chair accessible vans do not come cheap.

I agree with stork. I think $75 is a very reasonable price. It's beautiful and will attract a lot of attention. Best wishes for a very successful fund raiser. I hope you manage to get a wheel chair van quickly. I know it will be priceless to you, Avery and her family.

Wonderful set! I would estimate around 75.00. As stated, unfortunately, at these types of events people want them for a song and dance. I know I have sent items for such events and they never bring what we think they should. I have been told that you donate the item but you have no control over how much it will bring. So true. Good luck!!!

Beautiful set Toogie. I would not know what price to set it at. Sorry can't help there. Must be worth lots more than you will get. Lots of work plus the cost of fabrics etc. Hugs

I don't know, Toog, but I think at least 60 + 15 + 10. Can't tell how big the big bag is.

The Mondo big bag is 11 inches square at the bottom, 10 to 101/2 in to the V's and 15 to the handles. The handles finish at 27 1/2 inches long.

Oh wow, Toogie - I am not a great one for pricing things - but, I have to say this set is perfect - I just love it and anyone would. I do understand about location and price. Don't put too low a base price on it though - it is so wonderful! Hope lots of money is raised!! Hugs, Laura

Thanks Laura she just wanted a reasonable base price and then maybe someone is willing to 'donate' more.

Lovely set! They used to say triple the cost of your materials as a starting point. Unfortunately, often at these events people want lots for little$$$. With your travel groups I'd guess you could sell it outright for a pretty good price-- wuld that be allowed?
