There is a fantastic tutorial at Embroidery Library. To to Projects. Click on Search Products By Category. Click on Pets. Go down until you see the dog coat. It's really easy to do to your dog's exact measurements.

Hi Mary, there is a Dog coat on Cassandras Embroidery. The picture on the page is actually of a Chihuahua wearing it! I hope you can find something suitable for your dog. Look under "In The Hoop Dog Coats".

Hi Caroline, Mary bought a Janome 500E machine. Love Chris

That will be a tough to find. I have never seen one and I suppose you would need a very large hoop.
