UPDATED TO ADD LINK- This is a SEWING pattern----Hello Cuties, now I don't know if you'll laugh or not. To tell you the truth, I don't know to laugh or to cry. I have been trying to make this for about TWO HOURS!

The first one, the strap came out too short, and I cut right by the pattern. So the second one I added a good 1 3/4 inch, but with the cutting out, then pressing on of Pellon, and stitching and turning (which is not easy with these hands) and pressing again, I don't know if it's worth it. It would have been a good bus gift and inexpensive for me too, as these are the Dollar Tree hand sanitizer at 3 for $1. I prefer the scent of Bath and Body sanitizer for myself, but when you have to make 40-45, it is costly.
Hope all of you are well. I want to get back into sewing and quilting and Cute, as soon as things slow down a bit. I'm here off and on and try to keep up with what is going on if I don't have time to post too much.Have a nice day/night-Toogie

Very sorry Toogie you have had such problems. I congratulate you for at least showing us. I am also having huge problems with my hands being so arthritic and find turning ITH things a nightmare.

Yall try one of these, but I do CAUTION you about the length of the strap if you have a 2 oz bottle! I also would make the back piece longer, to come up higher, so the bottle wouldn't show so much. Let me see if you SEW one.

I NOW see in their post, when I clicked on to enlarge, their bottle is a 1 oz bottle, so be sure you have a 1 ounce!!!!

It's OK to cry but laughter is the best medicine. haha I like this pattern. What if you replace the strap with a bit of elastic and eliminate all of the fuss of pressing and turning? Or maybe a bit of lace or bias tape to match would be pretty.

It still would have to be turned so raw edges inside....the elastic would be to fiddly, I think for me, since it would be such a short piece....

I also wanted to get this design, I still hesitate, I do not know whether the bottles have the same size in Germany... then it also does not fit . ..

This is not a design it's a sewing pattern. You are correct. Not all bottles are the same size.

The strap looks like it might have been the right size if the front and back of the holder had been the same size. Maybe they made some changes while working out the design and didn't go back to make sure it all worked together. Hope you find something that works for you and is not so hard on your hands.

I think what must have happened, their bottle is 1 oz and mine are 2 oz. My friend and I are finding this out now. Kim has the 1oz and I have the 2 oz even though we both bought at a Dollar Tree store, different states.

I hope your hands get better real soon! I love the holder, by the way. Take care, dear Lady! Hugs*, Deb

Ooh! you poor girl. I hope you can get some relief for your hands when having projects inside out. Great job on it anyway. Good luck with making more of them. Love Chris
