Just catching up on the news. So sorry Vicki, to hear of your loss of Buster. You do so much good for the fur babies. Sending hugs.
Thanks, Debbie....it was tough but we are getting through it...
Parfait is still hiding but she talks to us when we spend with her.....she is eating fine and using the litterbox, which is good.
I'm sorry Vicki, the loss of a pet is always a very sad time. I know how you feel. Hugs and love from Maureen
So sorry Vicki. You tried your best for them and that's all anyone can ask. I hope you can give Parfait what she needs to become a member of your family. She's sure to love it if she gives you a chance.
Sorry for the loss of your beloved Buster. RIP in kitty heaven.
I think you could use a hug.
Big Cyber Hug
Vickie, I am so very very sorry you lost him. Surely he is in Kitty Heaven. IN the book, "Heaven is for Real," the story of the little boy who visits Heaven said there were lots of animals there.
Sorry to read this sad news. I hope Parfait is ok. lots of hugs sent. Linda
Thanks, Linda.….so far so good with Parfait.....she is just terrified, but is eating, using litter box and has a few nice places to hide from us...….
Oh! you poor girl. My heartfelt sympathies on Buster's passing. You are so kind to these critters. I do hope that Parfait will continue to grow and be a healthy cat. Thanks to you and Jim for giving them such good lives. Love Chris
Thank you, Chris.....I think Parfait is OK......can't help but be cautious, though.....
So very sad to hear this, Vicki...I hope Parfait is okay...hugs to both you and Jim...It is so very hard to lose a loved one...
I am so very sorry. I know what your cats mean to you. RIP dear Buster.
Dear Vicki, I am soooo sorry for your loss, it is heartbreaking and I'm sure nothing you could have done differently. BUT you gave him lots of love and good times while with you!!! So I would say you gave him a much better life. Hugs & Tears, Judy...
Oh Judy, thank you......I know we couldn't have done anything else for him, but gosh it still hurts.....
Vikki I am so sorry to hear this. Please do not blame yourself He must have had a heart murmur or something wrong with him you could not see. Feral cats outside have a tough life and do not live long lives. Some are lucky to have a feeder and they last longer. Buster was lucky to have you. My sympathies to you both. But look t all the good you have done too, I feel for you. HUGS
Yes, Andi noticed him breathing funny this summer and mentioned it to us.....she said she didn't like seeing the way his sides heaved as he breathed, so that is why we decided to bring them both in and see what was up...Andi said today after hearing the news that she thinks it was his heart, too......
I'm so very sorry, Vicki - it is so hard losing a dear pet. Hope Parfait is okay!! Love, Laura
Parfait seems fine and has quieted down a lot since removing his body from the room. We think he had heart issues as a few months ago we noticed he was breathing hard outside.....
so sorry for you and the family, losing a family pet is always heart breaking.
hugs
Michelle
