Remember photo 1 from 2013 of a grass plant Xanthorroea. The next photos taken a few days ago show how it has grown over the last 5 yrs.The flower stems are not as long but the plant has now 3 heads & each spear is nearly the same length.

The Rainbow Lorikeets were screeching at me while I took these photos.

Thank you, but these are natives which like to be left alone .

I remember that. It is really cool. It reminds of that children's movie I think the lormax?

This is something unusual for me but very pretty. It sure seems to have grown fast.

The plant hasn't grown much taller over the past 5yrs ,just grew 2 more heads. These plants are natives which are slow growing ,survive bushfires & live to be hundreds of years old

Everything has grown since you saw the backyard but a few things have either died from old age or weather conditions.
Water restrictions will probably be introduced soon .
