Give that lady a Gold Star. Know exactly how you feel. I've done it a few times. Ony thing about these Babylocks once you take the screws out and break it down you still have to have a strong pen light to see what you are looking for .
I was proud of the no tears! I felt like I was juggling a flashlight, tweezers, and the screwdriver.
Impressive! The last time I cleaned my machine it was still messing up so off to the shop for another month. What machine do you have as in the past I have gotten only part of the top off of my machine.
ooh I wish I had a sewing machien repair person i the family. I do not have the courage to do much with it.
Good job, Jennifer!! Can you come over to my house and clean mine - lol? I really do need to do the same. I think it take courage to take it apart!!! Hugs, Laura
I've always been so easily intimidated when its time to snap the plastic pieces back in their place. Maybe I'll be just as brave next time
Good for you. Last time I tried getting in the inside of my machine she would not stitch more then 5 stitches after I had put her back together again. Glad you had success.
Well glad you put your "Big Girl Panties" on! Good for you!
I even have an ith bag shaped like panties that says Big Girl on it. I tried to paste a picture of it,but my computer didn't want to cooperate.
I know just how you feel. When I have to clean the bobbin area of my machine I grit my teeth and hope for the best. Never can I get it back in without many silent bad thoughts. Then I get out the book and follow the pictures. Thank goodness for pictures.
It usually makes me so tense. Usually I drop one of those screws and cant find it, and then the screwdriver slips, and bad words are in the air. I'm thankful it worked so well this time.
You are a very clever grown up girl!! Good on you, I'm not game to take the top part of my machines.
I don't feel clever most times. But it did make me kind of proud of myself! Thanks.
