So, I tried to do these on tearaway (which was great advice by Kim), but it didn't work.......the design tore a hole in the tearaway and stopped machine....I used 4 layers of tearaway.....so back to cutaway stabilizer and I just used straight scissors after sewing onto bag as my decorative scissors won't cut the cutaway.....These are called SummerTime Flowers2, 3 & 5....they will be up on my website tonight......

These designs you've done look so lovely. Wondered about using a tearaway stabilizer &had read in a magazine when hooping a second layer of it then lay the next layer cross ways to the 1st one.Wondered had you ever applied that method when embroidering a project or not? Thanks for sharing your great job. :~D

Ye, I used 4 layers and placed each one in a different direction.....my machine created a hole in one part of a design and the machine stopped automatically....so changed to cutaway and stitched without issue...

Thanks for the update. I always learn from others. Four layers of tearaway is a lot. Cutting it away is just fine. I really enjoy the balloons with flowers!

Alas, the best laid plans don't always work the way you might think...

cutaway would be better for the dense stitches, and then I just leave it on and cut around it
