Do you have a date in mind for this trip ? I would like to out more about it.
Thanks !
Bonnie from Arkansas
I will send you a PM (look at the top of this page, click on Inbox to go to your messages)
fabulous, certainly something to get excited about !!!!
Right now it seems a long way off...October...but I will get more excited when it gets closer to time to go.
I am so jealous, if I got to go I'd have to empty my suitcase to fit all the fabric in.. Who needs clothes anyway. lol
You are too funny! I need to tell you about a dream I had-lol
Don't be jealous, be glad for me. I know this is something I would have never done on my own.
Branson is a blast ! Have fun! The Asian guy that plays the violin had a rest room so fancy that people ,ladies, were taking photos. If he is still there , don't miss his show.. Thinking about it now it may have been 15 yrs. ago. These people may not be alive. Kay
I have heard the asian fiddler before and he is good. I never saw the restroom-lol-My sister lived about an hour from Branson. Thanks Kay
I think he retired, not sure, Soji Kabuchi (sp.) He was very popular. I do believe he still has a theater there in Branson.
Wonderful! You will have a great time and I will enjoy your sharing of it.
I really envy you toogie. It should be a great adventure. Hugs
I hope so Shirley. I don't want you to envy me, just be glad I'm getting this opportunity. It isn't until October so anything could happen.
Well, aren't you the happy traveler! What a wonderful time you will have...can't wait to hear about both of your trips!
Kim, I found all kind of excuses, some real some imagined, not to go on this quilt trip. It's too close to our BIG anniversary, I need to make that quilt I haven't started :( , etc.
My niece says if she HAS to go (poor dear, doesn't even sew, so can you imagine her torture-lol) then I HAVE to go. I know it will be torture for me-ha ha ha, he, he he, lol
The Niagara Falls/Canada trip is in July.
How wonderful, Toogie! I've watched a number of Jenny's videos and she certainly knows what she's talking about and does it so charmingly and seemingly effortless. I am sure you'll have a great time.
Yes, she is all for the easiest way and I am all for that. Anything trick to make it quicker. Thanks, I'm sure we will all have a wonderful time.
How wonderful!. I have a good friend that just came back from a trip to Missouri Star. You are pretty accurate that they own a good potion of the town. My friend said it was a wonderful experience. I'm sure you are going to have a wonderful time.
Yes, you can look it up and they have a place to stay/sleep that has multiple beds. Would be kinda like having a big slumber party! I think there are maybe 9 quilt shops along the street and also they own a place to eat. Probably not much else in the town, so like I said I think MSQ own it all.
Ooh! Toogie, I'm so happy for you. I love Jenny's tutorials and have learned a lot from her. I've made lots of things from her site and would love one day to visit her and at least one of her shops. I can dream.
In the meantime, I'm off to a trunk show and a sewing class today with one of Australia's finest embroiderers. Her name is Dawn Johnson.
I'll post some piccies of my adventure. Love Chris
I am anxious to see. I did answer your message this morning but then it said error query or some such. By then, I couldn't write all I had said again because DH was wanting me to leave with him.
I love what you will be working on but I'll keep it hush hush and let you show and tell. Have fun, the lady has great ideas.
Wonderful! What a great trip this will be. I'm delighted for you and look forward to the pictures and stories too.
I hope I can take a photo with her and my niece, to come back and show you all, but knowing me, I won't think about a pic until I leave-lol
You're gonna have a ball, Toogie! We had Jenny as a speaker at our quilt guild and then she did a workshop, too. She's a fabulous teacher! Wish I could join you!
Do you know when my niece called to schedule, this was the only day available in 2018 for Jenny!!! Wish you could too! The class is for 40 and my niece said if all go as schedule she won't be able to sit in the class. She doesn't sew at all but I said surely as the trip hostess she should be able to attend.
