I have made several hats from this pattern, and have used cottony fabrics, minky or other soft stable knits. The softer the better!
Here's a winter beanie from Nancy Zieman's site.
And 10 free sewing patterns or knitting or crochet directions from tipjunkie.
There's at least one free on Craftsy from So sew Easy under free patterns. I'm there and only partway through the 42 pages.
I just made a few hats for myself. I used Polar fleece and a stretch jersey. They came out great! Mc Calls M 6521 has a cute hat pattern I used . I got it at Joanne's for 199 on sale. Hope that helps suzanne
Thanks Suzanne. I'm sure yours did come out great, you should show us which view you used. So sorry you have need for one, though.
This is for a lady at church. Well, not actually for her, but for a neighbor or someone she knows. She wanted me to look and print her out a pattern, if I could find one free. I told her I would look and enlist my friends here to help with the search. Thank you about the fabrics you used too. Hope things get better for you soon and treatments don't make you too sick.-Toogie
