I checked back to see your response to my comment I made a couple days ago and I see it wasn't posted....maybe I didn't hit submit....Now, can't remember what I said except it is a glorious sunrise over the water and around the cliff. It would be a uncommon and exceptional experience for me and a lot of other land locked Cuties to have Easter sunrise on the beach.
Everyone is hugging the shade too, in the park and I can't blame them.
We had a great day with the family and I think everyone enjoyed being together. The little ones were so cute! Hugs-Toogie
Hi Toogie, yes it was a really hot day on Easter Sunday around 34C!! At dawn it was about 18C just perfect. I couldn't wait to get back home to air conditioning! So glad you had a great day with all your family. Love Chris
I find the new fire awe inspiring. Our church saves the trunk of the Christmas tree and lights it on fire at Easter. Seeing the fire traveling ten feet up the trunk is something to see. Then all the candles are lit from it. The light of the world. Such lovely pictures.
Thanks for that lovely story Debbie, I love that idea and I'm going to tell Father Greg about that. We just light the fire in a grate and use that for the lighting of our little candles on the beach. The new fire is taken back to the church and the Paschal candle is lit from the new fire and then we all light our candles from the Paschal candle. Love Chris
Lovely pictures Chris. Its only mid morning in the UK and I'm going to stay quietly at home. Living in a tourist area its busy, very busy and it took me 5 mins to cross the road yesterday... Its always very uplifting watching a sunrise or sunset over the sea.
Thanks Caroline, yes, I know what it's like in busy tourist areas. Best not to venture out too far. Love Chris
