A lot of us use the tag system, which is very helpful if we want to find inspiration or find a particular project in posts. However I am not sure if some of you understand how this works. Lets say I made FSL angels for Christmas

I would type fsl christmas angels and the result would be like picture 1.
Each word would be a tag and one could search by each title. Remember that each time you use the space bar it creates a tag like picture 2 where the word "of"and "the" became a tag. Now that is not so bad because one could still search for coaster or penguin.
Where the search becomes difficult is when a bunch of descriptions are put together by no spacing but dash marks like this
"fsl-christmas-angels"
That is one single tag and unless one knows all of the words you would never be able to find that one under fsl or christmas or angels

I hope this will help with tagging and will be used more often.

Brilliant reminder. This is another "keep it simple" example of making things better.

Thanks, Angie, for the clarifications...wish more Cuties would include tags in their posts...seems like more use to...good reminder of how helpful they can be...

I wish more Cuties would too. I like to go back and 'eye shop'.

I, for one, love this tag feature. I try to remember to use it, when I post a project or go back and edit to add it, when I remember. I might just remember the one word like, coaster, and when I click on I see all the coasters that were tagged. I like that because not only do I find the one I'm looking for, if it was tagged, I get to decide which ones I like best.
Some have added phrases which I would never remember, simpler is better for me anyway. I like a good description, but I always read the original post about the info. But I do wish more Cuties would edit their project post and add the tag word or two that don't have them tagged now. I love looking back but if you don't have time to go page by page it sure makes it quicker to find what you want. Just my thoughts anyway.

Thank you for doing this. One exception to the use of a hyphen is when two words must go together like with the "How-to" posts in the Q&A. Just make sure you are thinking about what another Cutie would remember about your post. Only use the descriptive words.

I think I have put "tri-fold" in first brown tag and "wallet" in another brown tag. 'Bi-fold" also could be correct to my thinking.

Toogie you are right that would work.
