Morning Cuties, here is the Zipper purse I made for my friend Deirdre up in the Hunter Valley. I stuffed up the first one (the one pictured) and made another one which was perfect, but I forgot to take a picture. Anyway this one I decided to keep myself as it is still usable. The only thing I forgot to do was put the zipper (with tabs on the end) in a half inch from each end, so that when you sewed up the side seams you missed the tab! Doh! This one is a bit bigger too, so for all of my stuff in my handbag it's perfect! Love Chris

P.S. it's an easy pattern to make too from the Missouri Star Quilt Company - Zipper purse.

Thankyou Moderators for removing my post upon my request from the PROJECTS section. I realised after I had posted it that I'd put it in the wrong section. This is purely a straight sewn purse, no embroidery

Looks great! If it wasn't for the occasional oopsies we wouldn't get things for ourselves..

Hi Chris, very pretty fabric in your purse!
I have the same blue fabric as your tablecloth, they were actually teatowels, but I made mine into 4 placemats, as I thought the fabric was not really suited to teatowels, and I have the maroon in the same print, also destined to be a tablecloth one day!
