Hello-o-o Cuties! I am back! Actually I have been back a week but been really busy. Besides having so much company I took 3 days and cleaned walls and everything on them and in each room from top to bottom. Finished Friday but rested Sat and Sunday. I didn't get in my sewing room, though. I think that will take 3 days by itself-lol-(one friend said 2 weeks!-lol)

Anyway, I enjoyed my trip so much! Nothing like meeting some Cuties!!! I L-O-V-E-D my (too little) time with them! A whole day wouldn't have been enough! I know the others have filled you in but I wanted to say a few days after we got back, my friend Trudy called. She said she had been telling all her friends about our trip and about meeting my sewing friends. She said this was the high light of HER trip. She is sentimental/emotional too. She told them how I have talked to you all for 10+ years and had never met face to face, until that day. She said we looked like we had been friends for years and I told her 'We have!'-lol
I really enjoyed the walks along the beach and boardwalk. I almost panicked when I had trouble finding my way out of the Battleship Wisconsin at Norfolk, Va. I asked the attendant on top deck had a sailor ever gone AWOL on board ship? He just laughed and said they have to learn the numbers above the hatch or doors to learn their way. I also loved the coolness of walking through the Sarah Duke Gardens in Durham, North Carolina. I thought of how God walked in the garden at the cool of the day.We also cruised on the Spirit of Norfolk and had dinner and dancing one night.
I hope to get back into my sewing/embroidering next week. Christmas will be here before I am ready. Now I have to catch up on all you have been doing and making. So have a good day, my Cuties!-Toogie

Missed you too!!!
Be sure and show us the before and after of your rooms. I know you will be happy when it is all finished and you can get back to 'normal'.
Nora is still here. We went thrift shopping and she bought a Mickey Mouse guitar, to which she said, "Now Santa doesn't have to bring me one!"-lol-

I never did know the origins of your trip. How it was put together and how you found out about it, but was glad to follow you on your journey. What a trip! I told you if I had been 20 years younger , I would have driven to Birmingham to meet you. By chance ,did you go to South Carolina and through Georgia? Kay

We did but didn't stop, going, only at Atlanta on the way back. It is bus trips, scheduled by the tour company but hosted or guided by my niece. I have no say as to when and where we stop. When we get the final itinerary then I know the stops we will make.

Wow, it sounds like you got your batteries super charged! If you run out of places to clean, come on down, over, whatever and I'll point you to some more.
Loved hearing about your trip. It sounds like so much fun.

Clean mine before or after jrob's? I have never washed down walls, but I remember my mother doing it every 4th fall in the living room and that good (old days) Sherwin Williams paint lasted from 1959 to till about 2004. The real funny thing was - she painted back as close as she could to the prior color.

It's good to be with adults for a while even though I love the little ones. We stayed fairly busy with going to places and shops around.Sure did a lot of walking!

I had time for myself when I was gone. A room all my own, no baby sitting-lol-Have Nora over night tonight and Gus only until they get back from going to dinner without the kids.

It was nice. I barely will get over Christmas and there is a trip for Florida in February. I don't want to even think about sewing for it yet.-lol

You have to come through Georgia to get to Florida. Keep me informed.

I will Kay, when we get the itinerary. I am never sure, until it gets closer to time, if I will be able to go.
