This is what I have been working on since April. It is for my last grandson who was born in January It is made up of 8 of the nursery rhyme quilt block sets by Heidi available on designsbysick. This quilt measures 40"x4" using only 8 of the nursery rhymes. A few more were used by making .teething squares, which hopefully he will transition to so that he does not have to carry the big quilt around. But if he does and wears it to shreds, I will be one happy grandma.

There is a track making the silicone a bit thinner so I just sewed in the ditch with the sewing machine.

Fabulous quilt! I'm sure he'll make good use of it! I love it when a quilt of mine ends up in shreds too!

You have done an A+ job making these items. I have collected some like these from Sick but have yet to use them. It will have to be for greats when I do. Nice to see them stitched out, too. Great job!-Toogie

What wonderful heirlooms you're created! He's going to love them both! You sure can see all the time and especially love that has gone into making them! Bravo, Grandma!

I love it and know he will too. Great idea to make a smaller quilt for teething or as a security blanket. You are one talented grandmother and he is a lucky boy. Thanks for showing off a quilt by SICK. It's the first I've seen apart from their website.

I'm sure it will be much loved. I've made each one of my seven great grandkids a quilt and their mamas love them as much as the kids do.
