Well my brother Peter has made it to the big 80. Three years ago I took a photo of him at my sister's 80th under her 80th balloon in case he did not make it. Some of you may remember the photo. We went to his party last Saturday night and everyone had a great time. As you can see by his cake he is into music, especially Country with the late Australian Slim Dusty being his favorite singer, hence the look alike hat. He is also very happy that he shared the same birthday date of his great hero. Hugs Shirley

I am not sure how long he has been banned from the pub. I think it was a closely guarded secret and he told me before he realized what he was saying. Most likely he had too much of his own home made BEER that day he he he Hugs

Thanks. He sure has a twinkle in his eye and a great sense of humour. He was banned for life from the local pub for making a pass at the publicans wife, so he started making his own home made brew. He has 2 lots going all the time other wise he would run out. lol Hugs

Thanks. It was a great party. His granddaughter did a great photo slide show of past good and some funny photos through his life. One of his daughters made up a song about him and sang it to the tune of a Slim Dusty song. His health is not the best. He is having trouble with his knees and breathing, but does not let health problems stop him from enjoying life. Hugs

Thanks Marion. He said it was to good to cut. My 83 year old sister kissed him on the lips on the cake so we made sure she got that piece to eat. lol Hugs

Thanks Chris. His invitation was sent out asking would we like to attend the party to celebrate his 'OBE' He has a great sense of humour and is always telling jokes and then he laughs at them with his funny laugh. Life is one big joke to him. He had to have a pacemaker not long ago. that slowed him down a little and sometimes we thought he may not make the big 80. He is the only boy out of 10 in the family to make 80. There is still 1 brother to try to catch him in November 2018. Hugs
