I had heard of the directions for sewing a pillowcase called a "burrito pillowcase" and I adapted it to make the cuff of it to be ruffled instead of flat. The directions are simple to follow, but if you choose to make it ruffled, please know that sewing the side seams is very difficul because of the thickness of the layers.
