Just over 18 months ago we moved to living in the middle of a small market town. Today I looked out for the front window and saw 4 old cars turning into the carpark so I went to investigate. I found over 100 old cars taking part in a (highly organised) day out. We were the lunch stop so there was plenty of time to look at all the super cars then watch them depart and drive round town as they went to fill up with petrol. They all had excellent weather for their day out. I talked with one car owner who has a car like my brothers and he travelled almost 300k at a top speed of 56kph to take part. I never know what I am going to see out of my sewing room window. Last weekend I was able to watch the cycling part of a triathlon. Goodness knows what there will be to see next weekend

Caroline, Wow, just look at all the fantastic benefits you are getting from your little market town, that you had not even considered when moving there. Hope your area as many more hidden gems of living in that community! Love seeing the old cars. Many of those would have taken a great deal of time and money to build or rebuild etc. Definitely from a time where they went much slower than our vehicles do today. Looking forward to hearing about other happy surprises that come your way! Pam
