My new magnetic pin holder came and it's purple. It came with 15 pins and so I've tried to only use those pins for as long a time as I can before I open my new box of pins. I've already misplaced 3 of them. At this rate, I'll be forced to open my new box by Tuesday!

Congrats and enjoy the pin holder. Hopefully you will manage to keep the remaining 12 pins much longer than Tuesday. Gee, usually we Cuties misplace scissors. I hope this doesn't mean our pins will now migrate to who knows where.

I haven't lost too many scissors, but I've lost hundreds of pins. Maybe even thousands!

I can never figure out how pins end up in my carpet. I think I am pretty careful not to drop them, but.......

My husband always can find them. I can be in the room 3 hours sewing and give him a minute and he finds them when they prick his foot. Go figure!

My son says he has pin magnets in his toes and he won't enter my sewing room. Not that he is safe anywhere else in the house, not 100%.

I can run a big magnet over the floor, think I have found them all, and my husband can still run one into his foot!
