Welcome to Cute Jayie. Looks as though you are getting some answers you need and lots of warm welcomes. Glad to have you with us!/Lillian
Looks like Chris has answered your question....welcome to Cute!
If you have the clear hoop inserts that came with the hoop, measure the area within the lines on the insert. That will give you your maximum work area.
Good morning Jayie, I have Brother Quattro Innovis Eye 6700D and just measured it - it needs a workspace of about 20 inches wide by 32 or 33 inches long. I'm putting up a picture to show you. I had a look at the Innovis 3 and it looks similar in length.
Sorry about the fingerprint images on the screen - my grand-daughter Delphi loves to touch it when there is a design showing!!!
This is the machine that I've been making my navy blue quilt squares on and that hoop that's lying there is the hoop I'm using it's 10" x 9" (internal measurement).
I hope this helps you a bit. Love Chris, Newcastle, Australia.
Welcome to Cute!
I do hope there is a Cutie here that owns the machine or one like it. The free space needed to let the machine embroider varies, but I believe it would be a bit larger area than (my machines area of) 3 feet deep and 3 feet wide to allow the embroidery arm complete clearance.
I do hope some here has better information for you.
You could call a dealership in your area to see what they advise.
No I don't but suggest that you go to Brother.com and search from there. I'm not at home at the moment so its not possible for me to look for you
