I just have to show you this amazing quilt that a very good friend has made. All the appliqué has been done by hand. There is no machine embroidery in sight apart from the label that I was asked to do. I think it is amazing. The label is actually on calico and is not green as it looks in the picture.

Beautiful work. I can remember doing applique on my machine years ago and that was hard enough but by hand it truly was a work of love.

It is wonderful. Hand applique is not easy and is hard on the hand. This surely is a labor of love---glad you made a label for it.

I also used to do much handwork, especially x stitch but I am afraid my machine embroidery has taken over.

A wonderful result and I love your label! If the baby doesn't treasure it, the mother will! Thanks for showing us.

Thank you Kim. I made the label after she told me she wanted to hand sew a label. I am so pleased that she liked my label.

I love it too, especially as there are some of my scraps of material in some of the animals
