Has anyone worked with felted wool, I order some going to try some hats and purses in it. I'm hoping to get it today.

I have used felted wool for appliques on quilts and table mats and the like.
I haven't used it to do any real sewing projects like those you are considering, however. It's very nice to work with - the felting makes the wool fray-free so no extra seam allowance treatment (i.e. serging) is necessary. Hope this is some help.

It is something I would like to try someday. Betz White has some good tutorials. Can't wait to see what you end up making. Have fun
