I want to make a beach bag out of a towel. Does anyone know what I could use to lining out of so it would be water proof, yet washable??? Thanks.

I buy clear plastic by the yrd. at Wally world, U can get it n different thicknesses. use it 4 backs of baby bibs. I don't use the heavy wt. but what I get sews well & should work for you. At least take a look at it. Most fabric shops sell this by the yd. 4U

what about swade backing for curtains?
