I have done machine trapunto, as well as doing it by hand. Much prefer the machine trapunto, because of the ease. Try a sample square and see how you like it. I posted an Easter t-shirt that I did - that should give you a little idea, but that quilt was gorgeous!

I can't find it. Did you post it recently? I am going page by page... I will keep looking.

wow what lovely projects there are there! been a while I last visited that site. I have tried trapunto designs before and they do turn out lovely (I tried ones from emblibrary) but I have still to do a trapunto quilt. *

I know this is one of my favorite sites. The whole family has just beautiful designs, and their work is good.

Many years ago. It was done by hand and I put thick white yarn in between the stitches with a large hand sewing needle. Turned out to be very beautiful.;)

Lovely quilt. And now I have not done a quilt or any machine trapunto. Did some trapunto in the 60s, by hand, filling the double lines with knitting cotton. Have a nice day too.
