Remember Freebie posters that you may not post hints for hunts. Violations will be removed.

On a related side note: It makes no sense to me that any of you would risk the future financial failure of another embroidery website just to get a flower (or praise) here on Cute. Some wonderful websites have closed because they could not afford to pay for the website traffic they received from those only looking for a free designs. If freebie hunters do not (ever or regularly) buy designs from websites that offer free designs -- the website may need to close. Let them have the traffic and the hunt. If it takes freebie hunters another 2 minutes or 20 to search the site...let it happen. How long would you be willing to pay thousands of dollars a year and spend countless hours of your skilled time only to give your hard work away? What if you had hoped to pay rent or fund college or pay for a continued fabric collection? What if that is the way you pay for embroidery machine maintenance? How long could you keep it up? How long could you spend thousands a year without a return?

Please think of these things -- no attempt at guilt -- just a reality check

Nicely put! A lot of us wouldn't have thought about a freebie site like this, thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention, Marian

When I participate in the hunts, it has me finding some wonderful designs that I might not have noticed otherwise. If you don't like to look then don't participate!!! These designers do an awesome job and I don't digitize so I appreciate everything they do.

I buy most of my designs and donate to other sites, I'm fortunate in that I can. I know a lot of people out there are struggling, I agree with you Rescuer. Love Chris

if you can afford your machine you should be able to afford designs and a lot of the free ones you will never use anyway,They go into a folder where they stay until the next freebie comes along.
