It is a beautiful piece. I love the geometric design. I wonder if he has any idea how much work goes into a piece like that. I am so glad that he has decided to hang it up and enjoy this great piece of art.

314060That is one of the most difficult things about making quilts for others. You have poured so much heart and soul into the quilt then if it isn't received well, it's very disappointing.
This is a beautiful geometric quilt. I love it and I'm glad he decided to hang it. You quilt beautifully.

Thank you. You are right, that is why I hardly make quilts for anyone else other than family and a girlfriend of mine. I have to say that my DH did have a hard time having early retirement at 60, but now, he is happy and we are enjoying spending some time together and thank God he does have his other interests like golfing .-)) and cooking, then we go to museums and theater together.I used to do more hand quilting, but now have problems with my wrists and so am discovering my love of machine embroidery. thanks to you all.

thank you so much. I know he appreciates it more now, and he is actually my advicer for colors since I am a bit of color blind, I just like to put colors together but would ask for his opinion every now and then.
