I love the rich colours that you have used for this. It looks great. And thank you for the link to the design. I will definitely make one of these.
Actually, they are sewing patterns, not ITH designs. I do encourage you to make some though. Her instructions are very easy to understand. I told someone the other day, the older I get the brighter colors I like. Maybe I can see them better-lol-or they are more cheery to me, than neutrals or blacks & whites. Maybe that's why they have Red Hatters for older people too, they shall wear purple and red and any color in between-lol
thanks Toogie, love your effort. I wonder if mine will look anything like it....
Yours should look better! Let us see when its done. I won't be able to swap with you,as this is gone-lol
Love the colours. Thanks for the link I have not seen that site before
thanks for the link, some nice patterns there
hugs
Michelle
Hi Toogie, Thankyou so much for the link. I think your wallet is lovely. Thankyou for sharing.
Love Lorraine
South Australia
Lorraine, it's good to hear from you. With your sewing skills, I'm sure you'll have some of these sewn out, in no time. I'm glad you found the pattern- thanks-Toogie
Toogie, great job with this as usual, love the bright material you used. Thank you so much for the link. Sandra.
Sandra it's the same fabrics I used in the purses a while back. Glad you got the pattern and thanks so much for your encouragement.-Toogie
Thank you. I just downloaded the pattern.
I love you colors. They are really pretty.
Kathy
Kathy, the colors are just different strips of fabric sewn together. I made some purses doing this before and the only one I have left is mine. People loved them. I'm glad you picked up the pattern and thanks for looking.-Toogie
No is ok to say. Occasionally. Big hug.
This SIL is the guy here that is most encouraging about my work. He likes whatever I make and really seems surprised sometimes, so when he asked, I really hated to say no. I'm glad I found this site or that little ' guilty guy' ( my conscious) would have been here to remind me how good a SIL I have!
Thank you for the marvelous. link. I downloaded about 10 patterns from there. I just got a bigger tablet and I found two patterns there that will be my next project. I had just come home from shopping for a new case/cover and saw nothing that I liked for less than $25. Perfect timing for me.
I'm happy to have been of help to you, just at the right time, too. They do have nice projects there. I suppose you saw the bags/ purses?
Whoa--did I miss that wallet or what? These are fantastic and just went to the link to download the pdf etc. Love this style. Could probably add a long strap to make it cross body. Just an idea--which my ideas may never get off the ground. Am loving it anyways.
You can try most anything with fabric & thread.... And a good machine!-glad you got the PDF too! Thanks!
This is a great pattern and you did a great job. Thanks for the link
