This may be a long shot... I am looking for a pattern that looks like a Monchichi (those monkey toys from long ago!) I found a thread from 2010 with the perfect pattern, but it's just a picture, not a downloadable pattern. Can anyone help? anitapatch? Sewmom? You were both on the thread.

Thanks for clearing that up.

I should have mentioned that it is an embroidery pattern that I'm looking for. I guess that information would be helpful! They sort of look like a cross between a monkey and a bear - with sort of a person face. Now that I look at this in writing, it looks hilarious. Thanks everyone!

I checked Pinterest and found loads of images of ready-made dolls, but no pattern to make one yourself. I bet the copyright for this doesn't permit one?
