Mary, your crazy patches always come together so nicely. You just have a special gift of choosing just the right fabric to go in each space.
Thank you for your kind comment. Yes, I just love this method of making use of my scraps. hugs
You certainly know how to use those scraps up in an amazing way. I keep saying I am going to take my laundry basket full, stitch them together and make me a lap quilt or something but they are still sitting there.
Thank you, first time I saw crazy patch, I fell in love with it because I can make use of the tiniest scraps I have. I have a few squares already saved for making a lap quilt but I keep on digging into it to make pot holders when I need a quick gift. :-)
Nice work crazy patch lady!!! They look great and is a good way to keep fabric out of the landfill. Thank you for sharing Happy Stitching!!
Thank you Brendalea!!! I agree about keeping fabric out of the landfill. hugs
Beautiful work, your girl friend is a lucky friend indeed. Marian
Thank you Marian, I am the lucky one to have a girlfriend like her. I am also so lucky to be a part of our cutie family, I just love the kindness that you all share with one another. Hugs, Mary
Nice job and first class double ovens to hang them on. I have never had the luxury of double ovens. Kay
I do wish I have the double oven as well but it belonged to my girlfriend, she sent me the picture to show me where she found a place to hang her potholder. Mary
Great potholders I just love crazy patch. There stunning
Thank you, I also love crazy patch. That makes us two crazypatch ladies :-))
Love them!
Thank you Kim, you will always be special for encouraging me the first time to post my work. :-)
You have made a lovely set of potholders. I think we all would love a set now. Well done
haha, would love to send you one, maybe when a friend goes to the states, she can mail it for me. :-)
Great job, I love your crazy patchwork projects. Love Chris
Thank you Chris, you are so kind, I do love crazy patchworks. Have made quite a few potholders whenever I try to pretend to use up my scraps. Hugs,
I use a freezer paper method and they always turn out perfect. if you would like instructions on this way give me a PM,I will try to explain how I do it.
thank you for taking time to comment, but I do like the spontaniety of having scrappy crazy patchwork.. i like surprises and the beauty I see in its imperfection . :-)
Your name should be crazypatchqueen, these are great!..I also love the double ovens.
Oh Toogie, thank you, you are always so sweet in your comments, I have learned so much from you and the others and for the help that each and everyone shares with each other. :-))
Love the crazy patch everyones crazy patch is always better than mine , mine always looks messy yous looks sooo nice
Thank you, I used to think that way but I think this method of sewing just gives one a surprise every time and I have never seen one that is not nice. One is always more critical of ones own work I guess. :-)
