Have you got an Brother innovis 750e embroidery machine, if so what thread do you use, Thank you, Jean xx

I have four brothers and an embroidery machine. I use all different brands of threads for embroidery. Just remember when your machine is serviced the sewing mechanics adjust your tension according to your thread or the thread they use. So for straight sewing I use Rasant and for embroidery I started using Hemingworth because of the covers, it keeps everything clean and tidy,

I love the Hemingworth Barbara and have quite a few in my collection now. I reckon it's one of the best I've ever bought here in Australia. I have no idea where it is made, but am assuming it's made in the USA. The Rasant is great too. Love Chris

According with my own experience with a Brother NV 900 which I did use for many years without problems, the machine does not work properly if the bobbin thread is not the ORIGINAL Brother thread.
For the upper thread polyester worked good all the time.

I have a BabyLock Ellisimo and use Metro threads and their prewound bobbins primarily...I have no problems with either...I would suggest trying a built in design from your machine...then use the same stabilizer, fabric, bobbin and top threads...stitch out this troublesome design...if the built in design stitches out well...it is probably the design that is causing the problem...could be density could be the actual digitizing that is the problem...but start to eliminate the problem by stitching a built in design and go from there...if both designs stitch the same...it could be tension or a bad thread or both...start with a single color and stitch the design out without changing thread...that could also give you lots of insight as to what might be the problem...

I have 2 brothers a 780D and a Quattro. I use metroemb.com poly in both of them with great success.

Jean I have a brother and can't use Rayon thread at all. Mostly use poly but sometimes use metallic. I can use cotton for special FSL or quilting.
I would start with cleaning, top to bottom. New needle and bobbin. Not just new thread but a different bobbin. Make sure your needle is the the correct kind for your combination of thread and fabric. Good Luck and hope to see the new improved versions soon.

If the thread and needle sew like a dream one day and not the next -- you have many things you can check. I see from other posts that you have been told the needle may be bad (new ones can be defective) and the thread may be old or defective and it will shred...but I haven't seen anyone mention that designs can be very thick/dense and they are sometimes too dense to stitch out without shredding.
I suggest you stop when threads are shredding and take some scrap fabric to test one if the designs that come with your machine. If they sew out nicely -- using the same needle and threads -- then it is the design you are having issues with not the needle or thread.

FuFu is another name for Floriani. I have 3 brother machines of all different prices. I use both Floriani poly thread and also Metro thread also Poly. The needle can make all the difference. Sometimes my friends can get the bobbin thread in the wrong direction and that makes a big mess.

Also, I get best results from using pre wound bobbins poly from Metro thread.

jean I don't have a brother but have a baby lock and when I got my machine I got everyone's thread some quite a bit of it and the cheap brands I have to use as bobbin thread because it sheds so much so alto I found the best thread for my machine is isacord , each machine seems to have its favorite so buy in singles till you find for you the perfect thread. have fun with new toy
